Sempati Hali began as a passion for finding rugs worth keeping. Today we curate one-of-a-kind vintage, handmade, kilim, and patchwork pieces from our showroom in Bağcılar, Istanbul — for homes, designers, and wholesale partners.

How we source
How we work
From village markets to our Istanbul showroom, every piece is assessed, documented, and prepared for collectors and trade partners.

Field sourcing
Our buyers travel to regional markets, estate sales, and weaving villages across Anatolia and beyond to find pieces before they are lost.

Authentication
Every rug is assessed for age, region, dye origin, and structural integrity. We document the provenance of each piece before it joins the collection.

Conservation
Where needed, pieces are gently cleaned and conserved by hand — never chemically washed — so the original character is preserved intact.
