It is made of wool and cotton. Additionally, the edges have been trimmed and sheared in a modern vintage style; no machines were used at any stage of the weaving process. The weave density is 22 knots per 8 cm in width and 28 knots per 8 cm in length. The weaving process took an average of 4 to 6 months. Furthermore, various techniques—such as “warp knitting” for the border decorations and “side loop knitting”—were used, varying from region to region. Since rugs of this type are handwoven, it is impossible to find an exact duplicate, though similar ones may exist in terms of color and pattern. For this reason, this rug is one-of-a-kind.
