It is made of wool and cotton. Additionally, it has been trimmed, sheared, and washed in a modern vintage style. No machines were used at any stage of the weaving process. It has 22 knots per 8 cm in width and 28 knots per 8 cm in length. The weaving process took an average of 4 to 6 months. Furthermore, various techniques—such as weft knitting for the border decorations and side loop knitting—were used, varying from region to region. Since rugs of this type are handwoven, it is impossible to find an exact duplicate, though similar ones may exist in terms of color and pattern. For this reason, this rug is one-of-a-kind. The rug has been used with great care and is in excellent condition. After selection, it was shorn and cleaned to prepare it for reuse.
